• With magwell → pick magwell-compatible base pads relieved to clear the funnel and seat flush.

Capacity range & seating

Designs typically add +1 to +8 rounds (model-dependent) and give a larger pad face to drive the mag home. Bigger extensions may benefit from a longer/stronger spring.

Materials & feel

• Aluminum: light, rigid, wide color options—balanced for range and carry.
• Polymer: light, discreet, impact-resistant—adds the least weight.
• Brass: heaviest; promotes drop-free ejection and a steadier match feel.
